Course Overview
Visible safety leadership and commitment from top management is a cornerstone to establish a strong and pervasive safety culture. Ministry of Manpower (MOM) gazetted the Approved Code of Practice for CEO and Directors’ WSH Duties in Oct 2023 (ACOP). This course will equip learners with what constitutes a strong safety culture and help them to support and guide their top management and Directors to put in practice practical measures to demonstrate their conformance to ACOP.

Course Objectives
- Recognising the importance of a strong safety culture and leadership to shape the desired behaviours across the organization
- Understanding the roles of WSH Professionals in supporting and guiding their CEOs and Directors in complying with the Principles of the ACOP
- Taking a more proactive and strategic approach to safety
- Identifying latent management practices that could inadvertently, be contributing to poor WSH outcomes
- Techniques to engage and empower workers to raise WSH concerns and act pro-actively when sensing red flags at the workplace
Certification
A Certificate of Attendance will be provided for each person attending the course and demonstrating that they have understood the course content.
This is an Institute of Ergonomics and Hygiene (IEH) accredited course.
