Calculation Method

The 8-hour equivalent exposure is estimated using:

LEX,8h = 10 × log10(Σ duration × 10^(level/10) ÷ 8)

This tool is for preliminary interpretation and knowledge-based review. It does not replace competent occupational hygiene assessment, calibrated instrumentation or formal noise monitoring reporting.
