Part 1

  • Basics of respirator protection equipment
  • How to don, wear and use respirators correctly and safely
  • Selection, Maintenance, Assessment, Replacement, Training (SMART) RPE management
  • Qualitative Fit test protocol and test kit
  • Practical demonstration and hands-on practice
  • Trouble shooting for failed test

  • Quantitative Fit test protocol
  • Quantitative fit test device
  • Practical demonstration and hands-on practice
  • Trouble shooting for failed test

Certification
A Certificate of Attendance will be provided for each person attending the course and demonstrating that they have understood the course content and have a basic knowledge in the use of the test method equipment.

This is an Institute of Ergonomics and Hygiene (IEH) accredited course.
