Course Overview
Behavioural Safety Management is an approach used to address the link between the behaviour of the workforce and workplace accidents. It is also known as Behaviour-based safety. This is an areas that is increasingly studied in WSH to develop better safety cultures in organisations.
The field focuses on reducing hazards, risks, and incidents by observing the behaviour of a person and determining what follows when this behaviour occurs. It involves designing parameters to examine, review and implement programs to mitigate these behaviours.

- To establish Behavioural Safety Programme (BSP) design parameters and set up BSP Steering and Working Committees to implement according to the BSP specifications
- To evaluate BSP performance outcomes to rectify performance gaps
